April 27th 2008: New concert-announcement: On Saturday, 11/15, we'll be a significant part of the destructive Kraichgau-Inferno!
April 26th 2008: Our line-up has been extended by live-keyboardist Vethys! After his first appearance at Musicxtreme Festival in Hanau (GER), he shared the stage with us for the second time in Oberhausen (GER) yesterday. These two performances instantly showed the high benefit in music and charisma he will bring to our future concerts.
April 26th 2008: Two new concerts have been confirmed: On Saturday, 09/06, we'll perform at the Occultfest in Hoogeveen (NL) and on Sunday, 10/12, at Nachtleben in Frankfurt (GER). Click here for further information and some more concerts in fall are to be announced soon!
March 10th 2008: For our concert with labelmates Asmodeus in Oberhausen on April 25th, there is a voting taking place for the support slot. Apply or vote here! See you in Club Helvete!
March 6th 2008: We just announced some new concerts in Oberhausen, Magdeburg and Konstanz (all in Germany). Have a look at our concert section for further information!
February 9th 2008: See and hear us at the 8th Riedfest Metal Open Air in Thuringia, Germany, at the end of July. We'll expect you right in front of the stage!
January 18th 2008: All pages on this website have been worked over and now offer detailed information about our new release "The Recent Foresight" as well as some new galleries with new promo-pictures and lots of images from our European tour in September and October 2007 as well as the release-concert in Heidelberg in December. A graphics update will follow soon.
January 15th 2008: Another festival announcement: In October, we'll perform at the Skullcrusher Festival in Dresden with Master (USA) and many more.
January 13th 2008: New concert announcement: See and hear us at the MusicXtreme Festival in Hanau (GER) on March 29th together with bands like Illdisposed, Equilibrium and Dark Fortress.
January 3rd 2008: First festival announcement for 2008: At the end of June we'll perform at the "Apocalyptic Form of Death Festival" in Czech Republic. Find more information at "Concerts".
November 30th 2007: Today our new album "The Recent Foresight" has been released. Have a listen to two new songs here and order your copy here. Furthermore, a new website will be online soon!
November 16th 2007: Two weeks before the release of our second album "The Recent Foresight" we just put another new song online on our myspace-site. The song is entitled "Rage towards Apathy" and you can listen to it by following this link.
November 3rd 2007: By now you can pre-order our new album "The Recent Foresight" in many countries. Just follow this link for a list of all participating mailorders. "The Recent Foresight" will officially released via twilight on November 30th.
October 26th 2007: Back again and recovered from the European tour with Kataklysm, Behemoth and Aborted, there's only one thing left to say: A big thanks to all participants for fantastic concerts and an uninterrupted great mood. Some pictures from our performances will be put on this website soon.
September 27th 2007: Due to some delays in delivery, the new album "The Recent Foresight" can't be offered for presale until the concert on 29/09 in Linz (A). Furthermore, the new album-shirts are on sale from today, 27/09, in Pratteln (CH).
September 26th 2007: The new song "Venture and Value" from our forthcoming album "The Recent Foresight" can now be found on our mySpace-site. To find it, just follow this Link.
September 20th 2007: The beginning times for our performances at the European tour with Kataklysm, Behemoth and Aborted from 26/09 until 14/10/2007 can now be found at "Concerts".
August 31st 2007: A release-concert for our new album "The Recent Foresight" will take place on December 5th in the Schwimmbad-Musik-Club in Heidelberg (GER). Expect a special show along with the new songs! Futher information at "Concerts".
August 19th 2007: "The Recent Foresight" will be the titel of our new album appearing on November 30th. The recordings are proceeding well and we'll publish the tracklist as well as the cover-artwork here on the website soon.
July 13th 2007: The drum-tracks for our new album, which will be published worldwide on November 30th, are just finished. Thanks a lot Christoph Brandes and Studio Iguana (Necrophagist) for a more than promising result! After the recordings of all futher instruments and the vocals, the mix in Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Arch Enemy) in Gothenburg as well as the mastering in the Cutting Room (Rammstein, Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy) in Stockholm, Sweden, will follow in September.
May 24th 2007: European tour announced: Together with Kataklysm (CAN), Behemoth (PL) and Aborted (BE) we'll be on the road from 26/09 until 14/10/2007. Furthermore, our new album - to be officially published in November - will be available at these concerts exclusively! So, don't miss this chance to get your copy earlier and take a look at "Concerts" for touring information.
May 14th 2007: The process of songwriting for our new album is nearly finished! In June, drummer Skytorian will record his parts in German "Studio Inguana". It will be our second album after the 2005 debut "The Final Resurrection" and will contain seven songs and an intro. Just like the debut, it will be published by Twilight - most likely on November 30th. Stay tuned for more information coming up!
May 9th 2007: Since there seems to be no organization for the Zwergenaufstand-Open-Air anymore, we now cancel our concert. It's more than likely, that the festival won't take place in 2007.
March 11th 2007: New concert confirmed: After our first gig in Berlin scheduled for March 3rd didn't work out, we're now looking forward to perform at Club Darkside in Berlin on April 21st together with Thrudvangar and Kill To Believe.
January 23rd 2007: Five new galleries have been added mostly from some of our concerts back in 2006: Photos from Eisenwahn Festival (July 2006), Barther Metal Open Air (August 2006), Knüppelnacht and Metal-BW Festival (both October 2006) as well as some new promo-photos can be found in our "gallery".
January 15th 2007: Unfortunately, the concert in Berlin on March 3rd had to be cancelled due to some organizational problems. A rescheduled date will be announced soon.
December 27th 2006: On March 3rd 2007 we'll support our friends Dorn at the release-party for their forthcoming album. The concert will take place in the K17 in Berlin. Take a look at the concerts-section for further information.
December 20th 2006: After some severe revisions of our media-side some new reviews can be found as well as completely new interviews- and live-reviews-pages, which are - unfortunately - both in German only, yet. Furthermore we were able to add some new channels of distribution for our current album "The Final Resurrection" in our shop for France, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Japan. And some new galleries will be appended soon!
October 15th 2006: New concerts confirmed: We'll perform at the Kulturfabrik in Lyss (CH) on Dezember 15th as well as at next year's Zwergenaufstand-Festival taking place in June 2007 in Wolfratshausen (GER).
September 8th 2006: New concert confirmed: On Saturday, October 28th, we'll perform at Metal-BW Festival in Stuttgart at 10 p.m.
August 27th 2006: Another gallery with some more pictures of our performance at this year's WGT in Leipzig has been added belatedly. You can find it in our gallery or here. Furthermore, some new reviews can be read in the media-section, e.g. from the US-American magazine "Explicitly Intense" or Polish "Mega Sin Magazine".
August 8th 2006: Exactly one year ago our debut album "The Final Resurrection" was published via Twilight. Since that time things went very well for us and thus we like to thank all people, who supported us so far. In the meantime we're already working on some new songmaterial and our second album is scheduled for 2007. More information regarding the album and new concert-dates will follow soon.
August 5th 2006: New concert confirmed: We'll perform on the third Soundstorm-Festival in Dresden on March 16th/17th 2007. For further information click "Concerts" or here.

Don't miss our performance at this year's Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig! Our
show will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, in the Kohlrabizirkus at 7:20 p.m.
and we prepared a very special show for this night! And to offer you another
incentive, here's the running order including all bands performing this day:
Kohlrabizirkus, Saturday, June 3rd 2006 Furthermore, we'll participate in the official "15th WGT"-Sampler with the
song "Forgotten Hope for the Relinquished" taken from our current album "The
final Resurrection". This sampler will be distributed for free to all owners of
the so-called "Obsorge-Ticket" (admission and camping).
May 5th 2006: Austrian Metal Festival "Devil Days" - scheduled for June 9/10th - has been canceled due to problems in finding an appropriate location! Our performance will not proceed, as the festival won't take place again.
April 9th 2006: We recently started participating in the networking-community "mySpace" and our personal page can be found here. Besides having a look at some general band information you can listen to two complete, streamed songs from our current album: "Sections of fascinating Cruelty" and "Forgotten Hope for the Relinquished". The edited versions of those songs can be downloaded at our discography as supplied before.
February 12th 2006: The gallery has been updated with some new bandphotos including our new drummer Skytorian as well as some live-photos taken at the Winterbreath-Festival in January.
February 11th 2006: Unfortunately, the first taking place of German Braincrusher Festival had to be rescheduled from September 2006 to 2007. Nevertheless we're still confirmed.
January 31st 2006: New live-dates confirmed: Wave Gotik Treffen (WGT) on June 2nd-5th in Leipzig and Eisenwahn Festival on July 28th/29th in Obersinn. Furthermore, we'll play "Metal Café Live!" in Lörrach on April 29th.
January 8th 2006: New festival-dates to be announced: On April 28th/29th we'll participate in the Walpurgis Metal Days in Passau and on June 09th/10th in the Devil Days in St.Leonhard / Austria.
January 1st 2006: Just with the beginning of the new year we now released the official T-Shirt for our current album "The Final Resurrection". Visit our shop to have a look at the design and follow the related links to twilight-Mailorder. Of course they'll be available at any of our concerts, too. Furthermore we'll be part of the "Tales from the Underground"-Festival taking place on April 8th in Trier.
December 23rd 2005: Unfortunately, we have to announce, that Lyfthrasyr split up with drummer Mathar due to timing problems. We wish Mathar all the best and success with his other projects Coronatus, Illuminate and Might of Lilith and are deeply grateful for his work and engagement for Lyfthrasyr in the past one and a half years. Our new Session- and Live-Drummer will be Skytorian until we have found a new full-member on drums. Skytorian's profile is already located in the "Band"-section.
December 4th 2005: Just confirmed: We'll play next year's Braincrusher-Festival and Barther Metal Openair. Further information is available under "Concerts" and more summer-festivals are about to be confirmed.
October 19th 2005: Today issue no.39 of German Legacy-Magazine was released, in which we are represented by an interview as well as a track on the enclosed sampler. "Sections of fascinating Cruelty" from our current album "The final Resurrection" was decided to be the one for the sampler. So take a look!
September 19th 2005: From now on you can buy tickets in advance sale for our concert at the Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg together with Mystic Circle, so get your ticket now via this link! In addition we can announce a new concert next year: On January 7th we'll be part of the "Winterbreath"-Festival near Bamberg.
August 28th 2005: Two tour-supportdates can be announced: On Monday, October 24th, we'll enforce the roster of Graveworm's (N)Utopia European Tour in Karlsruhe and on Tuesday, October 18th, we'll fractionalize the Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg together with Mystic Circle! Unfortunately, we had to cancel our gig in Berlin due to organization problems on the part of the club. If possible, it'll be rescheduled this year, maybe next year.
August 8th 2005: Twilight-Vertrieb released our new album "The Final Resurrection" for worldwide distribution today! You can order it directly via twilight-Mailorder. And to those, who may be doubtful: Get your disbelief broken by a test-listening at the next CD-store or order the album there for test-listening!

July 31st 2005: Thanks a lot for a multitudinous visit and an absolutely great mood in Heidelberg this Wednesday after the cancellation of Agathodaimon. Many thanks to Asaru, too, who stood in so currently. Also a new gig has been confirmed: In Semptember we'll hit Bietigheim-Bissingen! Click "Concerts" for further Information.
July 21st 2005: Yesterday we signed a label- and worldwide distribution contract with the German twilight-Vertrieb! On August 8th our new album "The final Resurrection" will be published and sold all over the world. We're looking forward to a good cooperation!
July 21st 2005: Two more reviews have been published on Swiss Schwermetall and German Blooddawn Online- Magazines. Another review can be found in the next issue no.38 of Legacy Magazine. Furthermore we can announce something very special: In the coming issue 09/2005 of Sonic Seducer Magazine, appearing on August 18th, there will be a review and an article about us as well as a contribution on the attached sampler with our song "Sections of fascinating Cruelty" and a lottery where three packages consisting of the CD and a T-Shirt can be won!
July 20th 2005: Unfortunately, Agathodaimon had to cancel our gig at the Schwimmbad-Musik-Club in Heidelberg on July 27th due to illness! In the short term we were able to confirm Asaru to play this concert with us. Thus, amongst others at least the frontman of Agathodaimon will be on stage this evening. We hope for your understanding and thank Asaru for their stand in!

April 11th 2005: Today we released our debut album "The final Resurrection", which can be ordered directly via Shop@Lyfthrasyr.com for 10 Euro. It contains 8 tracks with a total playing-time of 47 Minutes and will be delivered in an extensive designed DigiPak. Furthermore, one year after our first concert taking place there, we'll return to Schwimmbad-Musik-Club in Heidelberg, playing together with Agathodaimon on Wednesday, July 27th.
March 17th 2005: On Friday, April 1st, there will be a release-party for our new album "The Final Resurrection" at the Kulturruine in Karlsruhe. In the course of the main metal event, the Night of the Stormrider, some new songs will be played exclusively an a lottery will take place where 5 CDs and a T-Shirt can be snatched!
February 16th 2005: Mika Jussila has done great mastering work to our new album "The Final Resurrection" at the FinnVox Studios last Friday and a Trailer including some parts of the new material can be downloaded now. The date of publication is scheduled for April 11th and pre-ordering is hence possible under shop@lyfthrasyr.com.
February 7th 2005: Recordings and mix of our new album "The Final Resurrection" will be finished shortly and right after this, we'll travel to Helsinki to get a great mastering by Mika Jussila at the well-known FinnVox Studios. Subsequently it will released as a limited DigiPak-Edition of 1000 exemplars and you'll be able to order it via eMail (shop@lyfthrasyr.com) as well as our new T-Shirts which will also be presented very soon!
January 6th 2005: Our concerts in Pforzheim and Mannheim really worked out and a new gig for 2005 can be announced: On 14th of May we perform at the Baden Metal Festival in Karlsruhe. More concerts are in progress and some news about our first full-length album appearing in February/March will be published soon.
